Oooops!!! I hit the post button before MOM could type how to measure your pup to get the right size.( I'm still learning how to type and sometimes make mistakes ).
Here is how MOM would like for you to measure your pup for the sweaters and coats:
1) measure down the back of pup from below his collar to where his tail meets his body ( length of coat or sweater ),
2) measure pup's neck just below where his collar would lie ( neck circumference ),
3) measure the width between his front legs where they meet his body,
4) measure from the middle of his neck ( in front ) to where his front legs meet his body,
5) measure his chest from just behind his front legs ( chest circumference ).
Remember, not to pull the tape measure tight - make sure you can get 2 fingers between it and the pup.
Now, after you've measured pup you need some way to decide on what size of sweater or coat to order ( please send the above mearsurements to MOM along with the size you've picked out ). Use the following chart to help with this.
XXS= 7 - 10 inch chest ; XS= 10 - 13 inch chest ; S= 13 - 17 inch chest ; M= 17 - 21 inch chest ;
L= 21 - 25 inch chest ; XL= 25 - 29 inch chest ; XXl= 29 - 33 inch chest ; XXXL= 33 - 37 inch chest.
This size range should give you an idea of what type of sweater ( or coat ) pup can wear.
If you have any questions about sizing, ordering, yarns, fabrics, or anything else, please email me, Chloe, at duegar.kennels@yahoo.com and I will answer you ASAP.

Well,MOM and I have put our heads together and have came up with a bunch of sweaters/coats/blankets/beds, and crate covers to sell. The following is what we ( MOM says I use that term too loosely ) will be making for your 4-legged babies:
beds: round small=$ 40 ; medium= $ 50 ; oval small=$ 40 ; medium= $ 50; large $ 75 ;
rectangle small= $ 40 ; medium= $50 ; large= $ 75.
coats: $ 15 for small dogs ; $ 25 for medium-sized dogs.
blankets: $ 15 for 24x36 inch fleece ; hand-knit $ 25.
crate covers: small $ 20 ; medium= $ 30 ; large= $ 40.
carriers ( for small dogs or cats ): $ 35.
Sweaters will come in a few designs and numerous ( MOM says that means a lot ) sizes, but not all sweaters will come in every size. The types of sweaters are as follows : basic pullover, turtleneck ( or funnel neck if your pup doesn't like the neck to be folded ), a Fair Isle type, a fisherman's knit ( up to size XL ), party attire, misc ( a coat w/ a faux fur collar, a hoodie, a " hunting" jacket, and a cardigan ). The price for the different sizes are :
XXS=$ 15 ; XS=$ 25 ; S= $ 35 ; M= $ 45 ; L= $ 55 ; XL= $ 65 ; XXL= $75 ; XXL= $ 85.
Remember that these sweaters are made out of washable acrylic yarns or cottons ( MOM says that way when they get dirty it's easier to clean ). Natural wool and designer yarns will be extra. There will be a $ 5.00 charge for appliquing your pup's name on the beds, fleece blankets or crate covers.
Hope you find something here that your pup will like. I will be modelling some of the clothes as MOM gets them done ( as these are custom made items ) so you can see how they'd look on your pup ( OH BOY, I get to play dress-up!!! ).
'Til later,
