Well, MOM , DeeDee , Stylle , and I have decided to take a break from all the work going on around here and just enjoy this Labor Day holiday by lounging around on the sofa and watching movies. MOM says we need to remember that Labor Day is a holiday and not another reason to go to Wal-Mart or any other store to shop.
So, w will be back to work tomorrow, but until then enjoy the holiday.

Hi All,
Well, MOM has been out shopping and, even though SHE didn't take me along, SHE did get some new yarns. SHE got a boucle in shaded blue, a rainbow varigated light-weight yarn, and a fancy blue yarn that is soooo soft I wanted it right then ( but MOM said I couldn't have it yet ). SHE also got a multi-colored chenille yarn that would be great as a blankie or a soft sweater to sleep in.
We , MOM and I , will be working on making some sweaters and coats out of the new yarns.
SHE also bought me a crown and a princess hat ( the pointy kind with a veil streaming down the back )!!! I can hardly wait to try them on - SHE said that SHE was going to make them for me to sell to other princess dogs along with pretty capes to go with them. MOM says SHE has a lot of ideas for me to sell and, the best part ? ... I get to modell all of them !!!!! I'm so excited I can hardly sit still. It's going to be so much fun making things out of this yarn and then modelling them as MOM takes pix of me - I'm such a lucky girl !!! ( even if I do have to let DeeDee and Stylle model them too. )
Will be back later with some of our new items for all you lovely girl and boy dogs ( MOM said she even had something for the boy dogs out there ).
Until later,

Here is Stylle modelling my scarf. You can sort of see the design better on Stylle. I didn't like it that MOM put my brand new scarf on Stylle, but she reminded me that Stylle and DeeDee let me taste some of the cookies they make and I needed to be a " big girl " and learn to share. I still don't like it, but I do like the cookies, so I guess that she can wear it for a little while, but I get it back real soon!!!

Hi!
It's finally gotten cooler here and MOM went shopping the other day and bought me a scarf to wear. SHE said SHE wanted to make sure I'd wear one before SHE started making them for me. The one I have on is dark pink with black and white footprints and bones on it. MOM wanted me to turn around so I could show everyone my new scarf but I wanted to go play with the ducks ( I just LOVE chasing the ducks - but MOM says I can't go that), so I just sat and looked at HER like I didn't know what SHE wanted. I think this pix of me is gorgeous!!! MOM said that after SHE gets done with the sheep thing at the fair ( no, SHE won't let any of us go with HER ), that SHE'LL go get some fabric and make some scarves. Maybe, if I'm real good, SHE'LL let me go with her to pick out the fabric - that would be FUN!!!.

I think I'll go see how much water is is the water bowl and, maybe see if I can't make a swimming hole for me in the kitchen, that way I can do what MOM says and stay cool!!!

Here is how MOM would like for you to measure your pup for the sweaters and coats:
1) measure down the back of pup from below his collar to where his tail meets his body ( length of coat or sweater ),
2) measure pup's neck just below where his collar would lie ( neck circumference ),
3) measure the width between his front legs where they meet his body,
4) measure from the middle of his neck ( in front ) to where his front legs meet his body,
5) measure his chest from just behind his front legs ( chest circumference ).
Remember, not to pull the tape measure tight - make sure you can get 2 fingers between it and the pup.
Now, after you've measured pup you need some way to decide on what size of sweater or coat to order ( please send the above mearsurements to MOM along with the size you've picked out ). Use the following chart to help with this.
XXS= 7 - 10 inch chest ; XS= 10 - 13 inch chest ; S= 13 - 17 inch chest ; M= 17 - 21 inch chest ;
L= 21 - 25 inch chest ; XL= 25 - 29 inch chest ; XXl= 29 - 33 inch chest ; XXXL= 33 - 37 inch chest.
This size range should give you an idea of what type of sweater ( or coat ) pup can wear.
If you have any questions about sizing, ordering, yarns, fabrics, or anything else, please email me, Chloe, at duegar.kennels@yahoo.com and I will answer you ASAP.
beds: round small=$ 40 ; medium= $ 50 ; oval small=$ 40 ; medium= $ 50; large $ 75 ;
rectangle small= $ 40 ; medium= $50 ; large= $ 75.
coats: $ 15 for small dogs ; $ 25 for medium-sized dogs.
blankets: $ 15 for 24x36 inch fleece ; hand-knit $ 25.
crate covers: small $ 20 ; medium= $ 30 ; large= $ 40.
carriers ( for small dogs or cats ): $ 35.
Sweaters will come in a few designs and numerous ( MOM says that means a lot ) sizes, but not all sweaters will come in every size. The types of sweaters are as follows : basic pullover, turtleneck ( or funnel neck if your pup doesn't like the neck to be folded ), a Fair Isle type, a fisherman's knit ( up to size XL ), party attire, misc ( a coat w/ a faux fur collar, a hoodie, a " hunting" jacket, and a cardigan ). The price for the different sizes are :
XXS=$ 15 ; XS=$ 25 ; S= $ 35 ; M= $ 45 ; L= $ 55 ; XL= $ 65 ; XXL= $75 ; XXL= $ 85.
Remember that these sweaters are made out of washable acrylic yarns or cottons ( MOM says that way when they get dirty it's easier to clean ). Natural wool and designer yarns will be extra. There will be a $ 5.00 charge for appliquing your pup's name on the beds, fleece blankets or crate covers.
Hope you find something here that your pup will like. I will be modelling some of the clothes as MOM gets them done ( as these are custom made items ) so you can see how they'd look on your pup ( OH BOY, I get to play dress-up!!! ).
'Til later,

Hi!
My name is Chloe and I'm a 9-month-old Treeing Walker Coonhound ( ain't I the cutest coonhound you've ever seen!!! ). I live on a 6.5 acre farm with my human mom and my 2 labrador sisters and some aunts and uncles, that were here before I came and a bunch of ducks ( that I just LOVE to chase even tho MOM says I'm not to do it ).
Well, my sisters have a job making cookies and I told MOM that I wanted a job but she said I had to wait until I was at least 9 months old, so here I am. ( I was 9 momths old on July 12 ). I told MOM that I wanted to make coats/ sweaters / beds / collars and leashes for my puppy friends and SHE said it was ok, but I had to have a special name for this job and " Chloe's Chlosett " was born. In the next few days, I will be writing down what I will be making ( with MOM's help ). SHE says I'm too young to use the scissors and the knitting needles and sewing machine alone, so don't forget to come back and check out what I have.
`bye until later,
